CASE STUDY INFO:
Strategic Management by Dr Grigorij Ljubownikow
In this Taster session, we will focus on Strategic Management. We will first explore what competitive strategy is (e.g., generic competitive positions and competitive dynamics). We will then use a group base case study discussion to analyse competitive interactions. As such, the taster will allow you to gain some insights into the content covered and the teaching methods used in the course and programme.
Digital Branding and Advertising by Dr Michael Lee
In this Taster session, we will focus on Digital Branding and Advertising. The objective is to be able to understand the value of advertising in business. We will start with a group discussion exploring the idea of advertising investment. We will then briefly look at the IPRAA model of advertising. Finally, we will contrast traditional versus digital advertising to understand the strengths and weaknesses of both modes of advertising.
