When a Baby Dies: Caring for Parents; Caring for Self
A half-day workshop presented by Dr Deborah Davis, developmental psychologist from Colorado, USA, and author of Empty Cradle, Broken Heart. Dr. Davis will talk about the key features of quality bereavement care, and the importance of self-care, specifically dealing with secondary trauma and developing caregiver resilience.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Parking at Middlemore Hospital is not free. Ko Awatea parking is available in designated paid visitor parking spaces around the Middlemore Campus.
Daily Parking Charges:The first 15 minutes is free. There after it is $3.00 per hour up to a maximum of $15.00 per day. Between 2.00 pm – 8.00 pm visitors can park for 30 minutes free of charge. The visitor must leave within the 30 minutes otherwise normal rates apply.

What's the refund policy?
Refunds are available up to one working day prior to the scheduled workshop (for a Monday workshop, we'll need to be advised on the previous Friday).
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
We'd prefer you did but it's not essential.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yes it's okay if someone uses your ticket and attends in your place. Please let us know on the day for Health & Safety reasons.
