Come join us for a night of elegance and grace at the Invercargill Workingmens Club Inc. Put on your finest attire and dance the night away in a beautiful setting reminiscent of the Victorian era. This event is a perfect opportunity to socialize, enjoy music, and immerse yourself in the charm of the Regency period. Whether you're a seasoned dancer or just looking to have a good time, this ball promises to be a delightful experience for all.

This event is also fundraising for Fountain of Peace Children's Foundation.

Frequently asked questions

Will there be alcohol available?

No! This event is a non-alcoholic event. However, there will be non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase.

Will there be food?

Yes! There will be snacks available on the tables as well as nibbles later in the evening - free of charge.

Is this just for single Christians?

No! This event is for both singles, dating and married couples. So, if you are married; Come out for a fun date night with your spouse ;)

Is this just for Christians that go to church?

This event is mainly directed to Christians, but if you have a friend that enjoys going out to events like this, they are more than welcome to join - so long as they are respectful of us and our Father in Heaven... i.e. No swearing please. They will be asked to leave if anything like this happens.

Do we have to wear Victorian/Regency (1800's) attire?

We do prefer if you make the effort to join in with the fun theme. That's part of the idea for this fantastic Ball. However, if you are unable to find the right attire - especially if you leave it too late to get one - we will be understanding. We won't turn you away. But it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Is there security?

Yes! We will have security on the door so as we are protected from any unwanted gate crashers.

Can I buy my ticket at the door?

Unfortunately, No. You must have your ticket bought by the end date of ticket sales. If you miss out, I am sorry.

Our first event last year - Nov 2024 - was such a success, we decided to do another one with a different theme!

We are fundraising for the same Foundation again this year - Fountain of Peace Children's Foundation - They do absolutely amazing work over in Uganda.

With this event I want to be able to bring Christians together to socialize and interact with one another. If you have friends that don't go to church but are keen on this event, they are more than welcome to come. It is a non-alcoholic event, and foul language will not be tolerated.

For Adults of all ages, this event is for everyone that loves to dance, socialize and even want to be a little nostalgic.
