In celebration of NZ Archaeology Week, archaeologist Katharine Watson will discuss the classical influence on domestic architecture in Christchurch.

Katharine Watson is currently a PhD student at the University of Canterbury and president of the New Zealand Archaeological Association. Prior to this, she established and ran one of New Zealand’s largest archaeological consultancies, Underground Overground Archaeology Ltd. Katharine's PhD is looking at 19th century housing in Christchurch in relation to identity. Her current side projects include launching a new blog all about Christchurch, archaeology and history:
