About this event
The first in-person WOMEN IN SUPPLY CHAIN (WISC) breakfast for almost 3 years we will be addressing this vital issue – personal resilience. We will be discussing simple but highly effective tips for focusing on what works and taking ownership of your thoughts and emotions. We will hear the voice of hard earned experience as our speakers discuss the challenges of life they have faced and overcome to become stronger and more resilient.
Speakers:
Jamie Ford has established an awesome reputation as an international thought leader in resilience and mental toughness. He is an expert in taking Dr. Martin Seligman’s research into “optimistic attitudes” and making it “learnable”. In some circles he is known as Mr. Mental Toughness.
Kate Daly is Managing Director, People & Culture at Fonterra. Prior to Fonterra, Kate led the People, Culture and Communications portfolios at executive level in Coca-Cola Amatil, Fletcher Building and BNZ in New Zealand. She also has experience at executive level in several global companies in the UK, the Middle East and Africa. She has had a wealth of experience learning to be resilient in the midst of crisis, uncertainty and confusion.
