Learning and Teaching Symposium

*Following yesterday’s announcement regarding Auckland moving to Level 3 until midnight on Wednesday 17 February we are currently considering alternative options for delivering the Wānanga Ako - Learning and Teaching Symposium. A further announcement will be made tomorrow, Tuesday 16 February, before mid-day.

“Designing for learning – the new University of Auckland approach to Learning and Teaching”.

Organisational Development, in conjunction with Ranga Auaha Ako: Learning & Teaching Design Team, are pleased to bring you the Learning and Teaching Symposium.

During the day the Symposium will showcase pioneering work by the 2020 CLeaR Fellows and teaching projects by SEED grant “Innovation in Teaching” recipients. We are marking the culmination of a year of multi-disciplinary projects and initiatives centred on the theme Designing for Learning. The Vice-Chancellor Dawn Freshwater will also join us for a Strategy Panel discussion to discuss the Education and Student Experience element of the Strategic Plan.

The session will include a Q&A session and an opportunity for audience engagement and feedback.

We warmly invite staff at the University of Auckland to register for the Symposium. You are welcome to attend for the entire day or come and go as your schedule allows.
