About this event
HIstorical survey plans created in the mid to late 1800s were often developed with local support and can be a valuable taonga of information lost to living memory.
In this session we will look at how to identify, find and get access to these historical resources, as well as overlay them on the whenua and visualise them in 3D.
We will also look at acquiring historical aerial imagery, and more recent but historical satellite imagery, to overlay and help build a picture of change over time.
