In this session we will look at considerations for

  • Good practice file naming techniques and methods
  • How to name and structure your data folders for GIS Projects
  • Sharing your data with others, and keeping your datasets up to date from 3rd party sources
  • Understanding the different options for storing, sharing and restricting access to your data.
  • Developing an appropriate data backup and retrieval routine
