About this event
Welcome to our group - your place to find connection and support, build resilience, strength and flexibility.
Whether you are super fit and looking for mental or emotional support, or have limited mobility, our group is here to meet you right where you are at.
Together we are focusing on your strength, mobility and relaxation. Transitioning from one stage of life on to the next, and adjusting to changes in your lifestyle, we want you to know you are deeply supported.
Our senior years bring new challenges, from lifestyle changes, adjusting to new routines, to coping with loss and grief. In this small group environment, we take time to enjoy a cuppa together and connect with one another.
We enjoy movement, strengthening and relaxation exercises. We also look at maintaining good health, we leave much time for talking and sharing about this too. As a trauma informed yoga teacher, trained therapist and wellbeing coach, I am here to support you in balancing your health in every aspect, whether that be mental, physical or emotional.
WHAT TO BRING:Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a warm layer. Other than that, come just as you are.

WHO IS THE HOST and WHY DOES SHE DO THIS?
I am Lisa Scott, founder of Red Tent North Canterbury and certified workshop facilitator.
When I am not facilitating events, I am a holistic wellbeing coach, therapist, and mentor, supporting those who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Working alongside you, I help uncover what you truly need to live each day better and guide you back to a life where you can consistently return to your own place of peace.
Whether you’re navigating life’s daily challenges, healing from difficult relationships, or longing for a deeper connection with yourself, my strengths are supporting you in rediscovering your calm and living the life you truly desire.
As a proud resident of North Canterbury, I care deeply about the wellbeing of our community and believe everyone deserves to feel heard, accepted, and empowered. By bringing people together across all walks of life, we strengthen not only ourselves, but the relationships, families, and communities we’re part of.
