Who:
Leaders can include business owners, worksite supervisors, health and safety practitioners, mentors, or leaders within an organisation who have an influence on other individuals or teams.
Content:
The focus of Level 1 workshop is to equip leaders and supervisors with the knowledge and skills to support mental health within the workplace. The knowledge and skills learnt within the workshops are transferable to different work environments. Areas covered within level 1 workshop include: depression, anxiety, substance abuse, supporting workers who are suicidal, and practical skills for starting conversations about mental health within work meetings. Level 1 of the workshop also provides leaders with practical tools to identify, talk to, and support workers who are struggling with mental health.
Level 2 and 3 workshops delve deeper into mental health, covering topics such as promoting a positive mental health culture within the workplace, anger and depression, and self-care. Other topics covered in Level 2 and 3 workshops include: The role of psychology in leadership – Understanding the relationship between different leadership styles and key performance indicators in the workplace, such as productivity, employee retention, mistakes and injuries within the workplace, and burnout.
