Come and clean at Western Springs starting from Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre.
Meet at 10 AM, 3 August, Sunday at 990 Great North Road, Western Springs.
All cleaning tools will be provided.
Western Springs Team Up 2 Clean Up is special run by Waiōrea Community Recycling Centre and Earth Action Trust.
This event is a part of 2025 Albert-Eden Zero Waste Festival.
This is a fantastic way to get out of that same-old-same-old routine, meet new people, exchange ideas to spark new ones, get light exercise and most of all make a difference to our community and environment.
Coming to the event please consider to:
- Check the weather forecast and wear appropriate gear.
- By registering for the event, you acknowledge that you are physically fit for outdoor work for 2 hours.
- If you have allergies or medical conditions, carry any necessary medication and you should also inform the event lead if required
- Practice good hygiene and stay home if you’re sick.
- Children Under 16 - We welcome younger participants; please ensure they are accompanied by an adult for safety.
In case of extreme weather condition, you will be notified of the cancellation.
About the Host
Earth Action Trust is a migrant-led charitable organisation since December 2013. Its focus is environmental awareness through waste reduction and elimination to achieve the zero waste vision of New Zealand by 2040.
