Our actions must be guided by our relationships with tangata whenua and Te Tiriti, while we value other knowledge systems including mātauranga Māori. These Whaia te Tika workshops aim to enable participants to engage more effectively with Māori by providing a better understanding of Kaupapa Māori in a research context. This short series is designed particularly for early- to mid- career researchers in the health and brain research areas.
These series are open nationally (we will cover travel costs).
There are 2 workshops in this series, you MUST attend both.
Monday 15th August online via Zoom 10am-4pm.
Wednesday 17th August in person at Beaufords in Totara Park, 90R Wairere Road, The Gardens, Auckland. Catering provided.
We are also holding a series in October, click here for details. Another series is being scheduled for early 2023.
