Description

Whānau Consultation Hui-Palmerston North

Te Rau Matatini is holding consultation hui for Māori whānau who have lived experience of caring for a loved one with mental illness

We are interested in hearing from Māori whānau about:

  • The motivators for caring for your loved one

  • The challenges and barriers to caring for your loved one

  • Whānau aspirations when caring for your loved one

Whānau are the silent workforce who take care of loved ones with mental health illness and we aim to find ways to give them a voice.

If you are a whānau who have lived experience of caring for a loved one with mental illness and would like to have a say please join us for a kōrero on:

  • Wednesday 1st November 2017, 10am to 2pm

  • 70 Ellesmere Crescent, Highbury Palmerston North 4412

For registration and catering purposes, please contact Avao Tiatia email: avao.tiatia@teraumatatini.com
