Our guest speakers, who we look forward to giving a warm welcome to include: Cheryl de la Rey, Vice-Chancellor, University of Canterbury Lan Pham, Councillor, Environment Canterbury Regional Council Stella Ward, Chief Digital Officer, Canterbury, and West Coast DHBs Hannah Duder, CEO, Indigo & Iris Our guest speakers look forward to inspiring those present to recognise what women bring to leadership. Also, discover how to recognise leadership skills and attributes within yourself and the value of being a leader. We want to break down the barriers holding women back from leadership experiences, so make sure you come and hear the advice these inspirational speakers are keen to share. This event will explore: The meaning of leadership - Let’s broaden what we know leadership to be, and celebrate how we can all demonstrate leadership, no matter what opportunities we choose to pursue. Women's leadership qualities - Skills, strengths, and attributes that make women natural leaders. How can women leverage these to develop and demonstrate leadership? Overcoming real/perceived barriers - Sometimes women are held back. What’s stopping us from reaching higher, from taking the lead, and breaking through to the top of our chosen field?
