Infectious Kiwi band White Chapel Jak are coming to Matakana!
Bursting with energy, WCJ are winning hearts across Aotearoa with their groovy, funky, soulful tunes. White Chapel Jak have opened for Ben Harper and Alanis Morissette, and entertained more than 15,000 people at the SeePort Festival in Auckland performing with the Auckland Symphony Orchestra two years in a row.
Lead singer Bonnie Hurunui has a powerhouse voice and cheeky charm that is sure to have you on your feet, singing and dancing. The talented trio are completed by funk and groove drummer Dean Tinning and multi-talented guitarist Nathan Boston (both hailing from Hawkes Bay).
“We love the energy and vibe of people having a good time,” Hurunui says. “So that’s what our shows and music are all about – the best that life has to offer, good music, good people and good times.”
This is a strictly R18 event, and of course we will have food and beverages available for purchase.
