Te Mana Pakihi and Velocity are proudly collaborating to bring you Whiua ki te Ao!, a University of Auckland celebration of Māori innovation and entrepreneurship.

This event will run in the format of group roundtable discussions, where founders will speak to a group of tauira before rotating to the next group, giving everyone a chance to ask questions and have discussions in a smaller, more open and relaxed setting. Speakers will be discussing their journeys and the relevance of tikanga in everyday business.

About Te Mana Pakihi

Te Mana Pakihi is the Māori Commerce Student Association at Waipapa Taumatarau, we aim to provide Māori tauira with a supportive platform to help embrace Māori values and enhance Academic success & engagement. We work alongside the He Tuakana Coordinators, Business school community, and other student associations to provide for and ensure the acquisition of academic excellence and practical business skills, by holding events for our members and the University of Auckland business school community aligning with our core values.

Velocity is New Zealand’s leading university entrepreneurship development programme, free to all current students and staff at the University of Auckland.
