Velocity brings you this exciting Women in Entrepreneurship event, featuring a panel of accomplished speakers who will share their journeys, reflect on the highs and lows of founding a business, and offer invaluable advice for emerging entrepreneurs. Discover what it takes to create, innovate, and lead from women founders and innovators who are leading change across tech, fashion, branding, medtech and more.

Speakers:

Tania Bastianello - Tania Bastianello brings a diverse life experience to her role as a co-founder of a technology start-up, where she leads across people and culture, marketing, operations and logistics. Originally from South Africa, her career path has included national-level swimming, policing as a detective, legal practice as a lawyer, and now, entrepreneurship. A strong advocate for wellbeing and collective strength, she is deeply passionate about mental health and is currently a volunteer expert panellist for B416, contributing to conversations around the impacts of online content on young minds. Tania is also a proud mum and a champion for others to discover their superpowers.

Chloe Julian - Chloé Julian is the founder and creative director of Videris Lingerie, a purpose-led New Zealand brand that redefines lingerie as a vehicle for confidence, comfort and self-expression. With over two decades of global experience, she has led design for leading names including Savage X Fenty, Agent Provocateur, Stella McCartney and David Beckham. Now based in Tāmaki Makaurau, Chloé brings a design-led approach to innovation, with a focus on empowering women through sustainable and ethical practices.

Rochelle Moffitt - Rochelle Moffitt is a creative strategist and connector, known for building spaces where women in business come together to collaborate and take action. She is the founder of Tickled Pink, a personal branding agency focused on elevating women-led ventures, and the curator of Sip & Share, an event series that builds momentum through meaningful connection. Rochelle is also the co-founder of Revved, a business and leadership summit that fuels ambitious professionals through bold thinking, community and Aotearoa ingenuity.

Sarvnaz Taherian - Sarvnaz Taherian is a Senior Product Development Manager at Alimetry, a medtech spinout from the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, working to advance the diagnosis and treatment of gastric disorders. With more than 15 years' experience in the health and disability sector, her career spans academic research, start-up leadership, product innovation and human-centred design. From founding her own health-tech start-up to co-leading a design and innovation studio within Auckland Hospital, she is driven by creating impactful, real-world solutions that put people first.
