Event description
Create a more connected workplace, by using a simple game to understand what drives your team, by asking "What do you want to feel at work?"

About this Event

Think about your workplace culture...

Is it awesome? Great! How can you keen innovating and growing that? This is a very engaging little tool, to get people involved in that journey, to build from strength to strength.

Is there room for improvement? Great too, the first step is acknowledgement, before any impact can be made. This workshop is designed to be a good place to start.

We have been out conducting empathy work since COVID over the past few months, and one of the things we have noticed is that employees and teams are being pushed harder, with fewer people to achieve the same results, all whilst feeling is that they are less supported than ever.

Training and development budgets are non existent, people are tired, all whilst being terrified about the stability and security of their jobs.

As a business, you crave happy customers. However, many businesses do not realise that it all starts with employee satisfaction. Your staff are your connection to your customer. Simply put, your employees need to feel the same as your biggest customer; they need to be happy and satisfied.

We have a cool little game to help discuss workplace culture - so we can all seek out positive ways to create a culture that makes people feel supported, engaged and productive in the workplace.

The workshop will be $10 for 2 hours, with 50% going to Youthline Southland, also the YMCA Invercargill has kindly donated their space for free in support of this project, thanks in part to the hard work and passion the late Sharon Woodings had for the Southland community.

By parting with your hard earned coffee money, we find people are more committed to the outcome of the session, and we want to support the local community at the same time.

The goal of the workshop is to start the conversation, help people understand what they want to feel in the workplace, and what they can do to achieve it.
