The world is shifting to one in which communications can help change behaviour for the benefit of individuals, the environment, and society. How prepared are you to implement the principles of social marketing in your day-to-day work?

Join us for a 1- or 2-day course, where you’ll learn how to plan for and achieve behaviour change objectives. Steve Menzies, of Flinch Marketing— the behaviour change experts—will lead you through social marketing 101 and help you to find the practical ways you can affect positive change by shaping your audience’s behaviour.

Our 2-day course will provide you with the opportunity to sit a short exam. Upon successful completion of the exam you will become accredited in social marketing through Griffith University in Brisbane.

Only have time for one day? Not to worry, you’ll get a comprehensive overview of social marketing and behaviour change without accreditation through our 1-day course.

COURSE OUTLINE

Day 1: An intro to social marketing

The first day provides a highly interactive introduction to the core principles of social marketing and useful tips on how to apply them to your daily work. Participants will learn to: ​

  • Apply the social marketing planning process
  • Define behavioural objectives
  • Segment your target audience and
  • Design interventions.

Day 2: Applying the principles

On the second day participants will work on specific behaviour change objectives. This day provides participants with the ability to apply the key principles to the planning and development of their own behaviour change challenges.

The day will conclude with a short exam.
