Our Decemeber 11th meeting will look back at how technology has developed over the years and how it has changed society as a whole. Our speaker Arturo Pelayo will be our guide for the future with his talk "The future is not what is used to be". The evening will include discussions about technology, changes in society and finding solutions.

Arturo's passion is connecting people, he has over 10 years’ experience in projects that encompass Design Strategy, Consulting for Education, Transportation Infrastructure and Ocean initiatives.
Arturo has a Master of Science in Instructional Design and has worked with CEOs and top executives in the USA, Germany, United Kingdom, Mexico and New Zealand in the areas of design and content strategy, disruptive technology consulting, design education and workforce development.
With stamina, curiosity and quick integration into multicultural departments and executive teams, Arturo uncovers hidden synergy and alchemy.

John Graves-Data Scientist at Datamine Limited
John works at Datamine Limited on the R&D team as a Data Scientist and focuses on evaluating and implementing new technologies to assist Datamine’s continued growth as a key player in the data analytics space.
He has an impressive tertiary education background, including an MBA in Finance from San Diego State University and a PhD in Computer Science from AUT University. Prior to joining Datamine, he worked at Morgan Stanley’s Times Square Headquarters as a Quantitative Investment Analyst, and attended Singularity University.
