Young Professional Collective Meeting

The ICOMOS Young Professional Working Group (YPWG) extends an invitation to delegates of the General Assembly to the inaugural Young Professionals Working Group meeting on Sunday 10 December, from 17.00 - 18.00. The YPWG was established by the ICOMOS Board in 2016 and has been meeting by teleconference since August 2017. Representatives have been invited from all National Committee and International Scientific Committees. The YPWG is currently in the process of establishing its organisational structure and aims for the 2017-2020 triennium.

The Meeting Agenda will accordingly include the following activities:

Progress update of Young Professional activity, August- November 2017, following establishment as a Working group by the ICOMOS Board and under the mentorship of Sheridan Burke, Toshiyuki Kono and Gideon Koren

Establishing YPWG organisational structure and membership

Establishing YPWG milestones and potential activities for 2018-2019 and 2017-2020 triennium (International Day for Monuments and Sites 2018, European Year of Cultural Heritage

Invitation to join Young Professional activities during Delhi General Assembly 2017
