Geek Culture is thrilled to announce the Yu-Gi-Oh! New Zealand Open 2025 as part of the Auckland Card Show. Please join us for a day of dueling and the ability to win some incredible prizes and an exclusive trophy.

- Tournament packages are priced at $60 and include 8 booster packs as well as a free weekend pass to the Auckland Card Show. Please see Terms of Entry for further details.

Prizing Structure:

1st: Steam Deck Console, Open Trophy, Regional Playmat & Deck Box, Oversized card and 48 Boosters.

2nd: Regional Playmat & Deck Box, Oversized card and 48 Boosters.

3rd & 4th: Regional Playmat, Deck Box and 24 Boosters.

5th-8th: Regional Playmat and 24 Boosters

9th-16th: 24 Boosters

Participation: 8 Boosters + weekend pass to Auckland Card Show

Public Side Events

Regular on demand and scheduled side events will run continuously throughout the weekend. This will provide players additional chances to play second chance events. These will include:

-On-demand Win-a-mat events all day Friday and Sunday ($15 entry)

-Specialty Rescue the Rabbit Tournament starting 10am on Sunday

• Participation prize: 3 core booster packs
• Prize: Entry into draw for Rescue Rabbit Plushie
• 3 Special Duelists have captured one of our Rescue Rabbit plushies and are now guarding its cage. It is now the job of the tournament participants to save the Rescue Rabbit by defeating all 3 Special Duelists in individual duels.

Tickets for side events cannot be purchased online in advance and will be purchased at the door.

KONAMI and Geek Culture will not be liable in the event that you are not able to collect/enjoy your Event Prize for reasons beyond KONAMI and Geek Culture's reasonable control.
