How to pay for Eventbrite tickets with Bancontact

Events in Belgium may allow you to pay with Bancontact. To get started, just select Bancontact from the "Payment Method" drop-down menu. If you're an organizer and want to use Bancontact for your event, check out this Help Center article on how to set it up.

  • 2. Select "Register" or "Order Now".
  • 3. Select "Bancontact" (in the Payment Methods drop-down menu).
  • 4. Enter your payment details and complete the registration.

When Bancontact is available, you'll see the Bancontact symbol next to the Register button on the desktop version of an event listing. Bancontact is not available for mobile-web or in app purchases.

3. Select "Bancontact" (in the Payment Methods drop-down menu).

If Bancontact is not available, you'll have other payment options (depending on the event). If none of the available payment methods work for you, contact the organizer.

4. Enter your payment details and complete the registration.

  • You will be redirected to complete an authentication using 3D secure before your transaction is final.

  • You will return to Eventbrite after completing the 3D secure process.

  • You will receive an order confirmation to the email address you used to register for the event.

NOTE: Purchases where the cardholder’s issuing bank and acquirer bank are located in the EEA (minus countries with delays) are subject to SCA with 3DS2.0. Purchasers have to complete the authentication requirement for the issuing bank to purchase tickets. The authentication process is determined by the issuing bank.
