Create & Unwind was created from a simple idea: that everyone deserves the chance to slow down, try something new, and reconnect with their creativity.

I'm Sarah, a local East Auckland mum who loves discovering new creative hobbies and sharing them with others. I believe you don't need to be "artistic" or experienced to enjoy making something with your own hands. Sometimes all it takes is a welcoming space, a little encouragement, and the willingness to give something new a go.

My workshops are designed to be relaxed, beginner-friendly, and enjoyable for everyone. Whether you're looking for a creative evening out, a chance to meet new people, or simply a couple of hours away from the busyness of everyday life, you'll leave having learnt something new and with a handmade creation you can be proud of.

My hope is that every Create & Unwind workshop gives people the confidence to discover a new hobby, enjoy the process of creating, and remember that it's never too late to try something for the first time.
