The Matt Buth Foundation was created in honor of DeLand High Band student Matthew Buth. His passion for music, his love for his friends and family, as well as his dedication to helping others are what Matt will always be remembered for. The MBF raises funds to provide local annual scholarships of $2,500 each to at least two Volusia County Band, Chorus or other musical arts seniors each year. We also provide an annual grant of $1,000 to a local mental health advocate to bring awareness to teen suicide and help fight suicide in our community. Music soothes the soul, feeds the spirit, and gives life to our hearts. Together we can make sure that Matt's Legacy Lives On..
