I have worked as a boat builder for over 12 years. A career in boat building has taken me all over the world and opened my eyes to practical skills built around a love of the ocean. I have been teaching for 6 years and feel passionately about bridging the skills gap in STEM subjects. I teach woodwork and introductory courses mainly for women to build confidence and practical skills. Whether it's just to try out or to start or change careers, these courses offer a taster into the industry. in a positive, friendly and creative envirnment.
