Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN)

The Diasporic Vietnamese Artists Network (DVAN) uplifts and fosters diasporic Vietnamese literary voices. We envision a world where the diversity, complexities, and nuances of the Vietnamese diaspora are understood and celebrated, and in which Vietnamese diasporic stories and artists can empower, heal, and connect individuals and communities. We curate and create programs, collaborations, and publications for Vietnamese diasporic artists, their allies, and audiences.

DVAN supports creatives through community events, residencies, workshops, and publication opportunities ranging from our online magazine diaCRITICS to books for both emerging and established writers. DVAN advocates for diasporic artists to express themselves on their own terms and cultivates narrative change by amplifying the diversity of our voices.
