Bingley Writers
A social group for writers. All levels of writing experience are welcome.
Do you enjoy writing but find it hard to find the time or struggling to move past that annoying writer’s block? The Bingley Writers Group is a social group for writers to meet. It is a group who supports one another, encouraging each writer with their progress from feedback that’s always constructive. The group’s main purpose is to share good practice, sharing work, connecting with other writers, and learning more about creative writing. There will be writing exercises to stimulate your imagination and allow you to put pen to paper, even if you haven’t written in ages.
Whether you are writing as a hobby or aiming to publish, we can support you. The group focuses on creative writing like poetry, prose, micro fiction, flash and short stories. All genres are welcome, but if any sensitive material is shared, please advise warnings to its contents. Please do not share any material that is racist, offensive to any specific groups or communities.
The group is run by Corinne Pollard, a disabled writer with a degree in English Literature and Creative Writing. Her work has been published in local anthologies and on Amazon, which you can check out here:
