Cari Shipp
Cari Shipp is a professional flutist living, teaching, and performing in Charlottesville, Virginia. She holds a masters of music from the Peabody Conservatory. She performs widely with professional orchestras in the area and is a featured soloist and chamber musician on concert series throughout central Virginia.
Cari is the founder of the SONOSYNTHESIS Benefit Concert Series. SONOSYNTHESIS is a creative, classical benefit concert series founded, produced, and performed by Cari Shipp, flutist in Charlottesville, Virginia. Established in 2017, there have since been over twelve concerts benefiting local organizations working towards peace and justice. SONOSYNTHESIS means the fusion of sound and Cari supports organizations through partnering with them to produce a concert raising funds and awareness; fusing together different musicians and styles; and fusing high quality programming with relatability for all listeners regardless of their listening background.
