Children's Autism Foundation

Children’s Autism Foundation (CAF) was incorporated as a Charitable Trust in May 2003 and with the Charities Commission (CC11460) in October 2007.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees and employs highly qualified and experienced professionals for specific programmes, as well as having a team of active volunteers.

Our family-centred programmes are unique among service providers, complementing services provided by other agencies.

 is to provide direct support to families of children affected by autism, and their communities, by providing them with professional advice and services, to manage the emotional and practical impacts of autism.

 is for children with autism to have rewarding and meaningful lives within their families and the community, now and in the future.

We provide whanau/family support services to families of children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), from pre-diagnosis up to 21 years of age.  We have a strong track record of quality service to families/whanau of children with ASD, providing advice, support, holistic, family-centred solutions to help families manage the intense emotional and practical impacts of autism.
