SUPPORTING MANCHESTER’S WRITERS SINCE 1977
Cultureword is a writing development organisation based in Manchester, providing opportunities for new and aspiring writers to develop their talent and potential. Since being established in 1977 Commonword Cultureword has worked with hundreds of writers including Lemn Sissay, Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi and Keisha Thompson.
We run workshops, events and programmes for writers as well as the biennial National Black Writers Conference.
