Hey! I’m Derek, the creator of Locals & Nomads and La Noche Latina. My mission with both projects is simple: to bring people together through culture, music, and genuine connection right here in Mexico City.

I created Locals & Nomads to bridge the gap between travelers, expats, and locals through friendly language exchanges and social gatherings. It’s designed to make a massive city feel personal, welcoming, and easy to navigate.

La Noche Latina is my passion project for celebrating Latin rhythm, dance, and energy—creating an unbeatable atmosphere where everyone can let loose on the dance floor and connect with vibrant, like-minded people.
