Dr Joel Porter is a registered clinical psychologist and MINT certified MI trainer living in Christchurch, New Zealand. Joel is a Senior Clinical Lecturer, National Addiction Centre, University of Otago and an Adjunct Associate Professor, Centre for Applied Psychology, University of Canberra. He has been providing MI training to a wide range of professionals around the world for the past 20 years. Joel is developer and co-host of the free monthly webinar Motivational Interviewing & Beyond. He is a long time and active member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT).
