Gareth Edwards is an entertainer, writer and healer.

He creates unique and uplifting shows, workshops and and talks blending music, laughter yoga and a twenty year career in mental health and wellbeing. 



Gareth has recorded two albums, an EP and a Christmas single and his one-man show Mad Love won Best Solo Show and Best In Fringe awards at the 2015 Nelson Fringe Festival.

Laughter Yoga 

Gareth has led 'unconditional laughter' sessions with thousands of people from chuckling CEOs to giggling Grannies and has appeared in on national television, radio and newspapers talking about the benefits of a good laugh.

Mental Health and Wellbeing

Gareth has a background in psychology and worked in mental health for over twenty years as a government advisor, university researcher and designer of innovative health services. 


His first book The Procrastinator's Guide To Killing Yourself is based on his 'quarter-life' crisis in his 20s that led to homelessness, hospitalisation and a diagnosis of bipolar disorder.
