Hospice Mid-Northland

Hospice Mid-Northland is a charitable organisation that provides specalist care for people with a life limiting illness. Our assistance is available to everyone who needs it, regardless of age, race, religion or social standing, and there is no cost to the patient or their family.

Our team of specially trained nurses and volunteers walk the final journey with our patients, providing specalist nursing care, medical loan equipment, bereavemnet care and counselling, spiritual support, day clinics.

Our Mid-North service area covers a population od over 40,000 - from Towai in the south to Taupo bay in the North, and from coast to coast including South Hokianga.

The Northland District Health Board provides 46% of our funding requirements, and we rely on community fund raising activities to obtain the rest of what we need.
