Society promoting the study and practice of horticulture and gardening in all its forms.  Society formed in 1903.  Society holds 3 annual plant shows a year in September, November and February.  Society affiliated with other horticultural societies in Wellington region - Rose, Orchid, Fuchsia, Begonia, Cactus & Succlent, Bonsai and Gardening Circle societies.
