J Rowles Family Violence Practitioner/Supervisor
Jacki Rowles is a family violence practitioner, supervisor, educator, and activist advocating against systems abuse in IPV. She provides group and individual supervision, supporting frontline workers and professionals across Aotearoa. In her practice she works with clients as a registered counsellor (NZAC) and is certified in Response-Based Practice, in that she works contextually, centring dignity, personal agency, and recognising resistance to violence. Her expertise includes FV Counselling clinical supervision, training, court report writing, and developing and delivering advanced family violence education.
As a doctoral researcher, Jacki examines institutional abuse as systemic coercive control, exposing how harmful system responses perpetuate harm and injustice. She is committed to supporting those who support others, advocating for systemic change, and challenging institutional failures to foster safety, dignity, and justice for survivors and practitioners alike.
