Our Story

When you don’t see the kind of experience you want—create it yourself. That’s exactly how Kompa & Sip was born.

Blending culture, creativity, and Caribbean vibes, Kompa & Sip is Philly’s first Haitian-inspired paint-and-sip experience. We wanted more spaces that felt like lakay—where the music is soulful, the art is alive, the food tastes like home, and the energy is nothing but good. So we built it.

Our launch night brings it all together: guided painting, live Kompa music, tasty ti goute (small bites), and a BYOB setup—all wrapped in joy, laughter, and community. Whether you’re here to vibe, paint, or simply feel something real, Kompa & Sip is where Philly meets Haiti in the most colorful way.
