Lisa Cooper - Mindful Energy Fitness

Hi, my name is Lisa Cooper. I have always had an interest in fitness with sport being my passion since a very young age. Previously my focus has been on body fitness but over the past few years I have evolved into being more holistically aware and am now passionate about whole fitness for the mind, body and the soul. If we can work on all of these together, life can be something powerfully beautiful. This is what I want to share with you, I want to empower people to live happier and healthier lives.
My passion for sport has taken me to national representative level, requiring dedication and commitment. I now bring these attributes to my business and the clients that entrust their well being to me. My point of difference to other fitness and wellness businesses is that I incorporate fitness with mindfulness and meditation - without the flamboyance and fan-fare - focusing on attaining balance for the mind, body and spirit as a whole. I believe in honesty, integrity, being natural and keeping it real.
Qualifications - in 2018 I earned my Mindfulness Teacher Training Certificate. I completed the Diploma in Professional Coaching in 2017 and in 2016 I gained the Professional Certificate of Wellbeing Coaching, which includes knowledge on Psychology, Behaviour Change, Wellbeing Management & Health Coaching. In 2019 I completed a course studying the Science of Subtle Yoga which is a science based theory and practical course on how slow movement benefits fatigue, depression, anxiety, chronic pain and body image/weight management.
I am currently now studying a course in The Yoga & Neuroscience Connection, and the Subtle Yoga Teacher Training Course. These will provide me with more scientific knowledge on how Subtle Movement, asanas, pranayama and meditation benefit your brain and general health, and to bring this knowledge base to my clients by teaching Subtle Movement classes. Combine these with my many fitness qualifications and life experience I feel that I can provide a valuable, life changing experience to anyone that is willing to learn.
