Martyna Kuik

Hi, my name is Martyna. I was born in Belgium, but I’m Polish, and growing up between two cultures gave me a strong sense of justice and fairness. I’m the founder and executive director of Equal Grounds, a youth organization in Brussels advocating for equal rights and equity. From a young age, I’ve been inspired by my mum and aunt, who always stood up for women’s rights despite the challenges they faced in Poland. Their stories taught me that equality isn’t just about one generation, it’s about building a fairer future for all. That’s why I use my voice: at school, in my community, and through Equal Grounds, to stand up for fairness. To me, equality isn’t just a dream, it’s a mission I carry close to my heart.
