Hi, I'm the Auckland Volunteer Coordinator for SAFE. SAFE is NZ's leading animal advocacy organization. We are a registered not for profit, charitable organization, aiming to make significant improvements to the lives of animals by raising awareness, challenging cruel practices, changing attitudes and fostering compassion so that they are no longer exploited or abused by humans. SAFE has over 20,000 members and supporters and a small group of dedicated staff. We undertake high-profile campaigns, public stalls, displays, demonstrations, meetings, education services and research, to foster a more informed understanding of the state of human-animal relations in contemporary Aotearoa New Zealand. SAFE's Eat Kind Program provides free resources to help Kiwis on their journey to eat kind for the Animals, for the Planet and for their Health.
