Pinaman hopes Africa Fashion Festival provides an outlet for all New Zealanders to experience the cultural richness and incredible artistic talent from the diverse and vibrant continent of Africa".Pinaman is very active in the African Community and has extensive experience in event management. She has been involved in organising major events in Wellington specifically the Taste of Africa Fashion showcase at Te Papa National Museum, Africa Day Fashion Showcase at Wellington Town Hall, and the Miss Africa Wellington Pageant.
