Sydney Sakura Choir

The Sydney Sakura Choir is a community choir that sings with the aim of contributing to the goodwill of Australia and Japan by providing encouragement and deep emotion through songs. We sing songs in a range of languages such as English, Italian, German, Finnish and, of course, Japanese. The Sydney Sakura Choir values the connections between members and happily welcomes all aspiring singers, regardless of their experiences. We have participated in various programs such as charity events, cultural events, and community festivals since the establishment of our first incarnation in 2014. Our conductor has been Ms Masayo Hanaoka since March, 2022.
