The Alexander Thomson `Society
Founded in 1991, the Society aims to protect and promote the work of the Scottish architect Alexander 'Greek' Thomson (1817-1875), by:
• Undertaking casework to ensure the preservation and survival of Thomson's existing buildings.
• Assisting and advising owners and prospective owners of Thomson's buildings seeking guidance on appropriate conservation.
• Publishing information on Thomson through an annual Journal and a monthly online Newsletter.
• Promoting and encouraging original research on Thomson.
• Arranging talks, lectures, and visits.
