The FoodBowl Tasters Series with FiE: Session 2 - Thermal Processing

The FoodBowl is a food factory like no other! Part of the New Zealand Food Innovation Network, this export certified modular facility is open for start-ups all the way to large multi-nationals to use for product development through to commercial production. The FoodBowl is a conduit to the Food, Beverage and Nutraceutical industrys of New Zealand and regulary holds events to up-skill and inform people on the latest trends and techniques to better processes and business.

The FoodBowl Tasters are a series of webinars covering useful fundamental topics in Food Technology presented by <A HREF="https://www.fie.com.au/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Food Industry Engineering</A> and <A HREF="https://www.foodstream.com.au/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">FoodStream</A>. This webinar will appeal to  Startups and SMEs who need a basic knowledge of the technical aspects of food preservation.

Session 2: Thermal Processing
Topics covered in this session include:

<LI>types of thermally processed products</LI>
<LI>retorted vs aseptic processing vs hot fill processing</LI>
<LI>thermal process requirements for cook-chill products (Note - if your interest is in cook-chill, we would strongly suggest you this session be completed before <A HREF="https://www.eventbrite.co.nz/e/106029723758" TARGET="_blank">session 4</A> “Chilling & Freezing” as the concepts presented are critical to this technology)</LI>

This 90 minute webinar is ideal for those who work with food and want to gain a better overall understanding of the basics of this technology. There will be time for a Q&A session after the webinar to answer all of your questions.
The webinar will be held via Zoom, you'll receive an email with the link details the day before the webinar.
