Ashleigh will also reflect on her visit to the Royal Shakespeare Company, including a discussion of The Tempest starring Kenneth Branagh, and insights gained from the accompanying Director’s Talk. Drawing on these experiences and knowledge, she will connect classical performance principles to modern communication and teaching practice.

Ashleigh is the founder of With Confidence, where she supports individuals, schools kura and businesses to perform, interview and present with confidence. She has a long-standing connection with Speech New Zealand, having served as a Trustee on the Board for a decade. She is proud to be an examiner kaiarotake matua and is deeply committed to the Speech New Zealand motto, “Helping our Nation to Communicate.” A secondary school kura English and Drama teacher kaiako, Ashleigh has taught students ākonga in New Zealand Aotearoa and overseas. She now divides her time between the classroom and leading With Confidence, bringing together practical teaching expertise and professional performance training.
