About this Event

About the workshop

Begin your programming journey with an introduction to Programming Logic and Block Coding. This workshop shall cover the key aspects of programming logic based semantics. The problem solving approach will be used to solve simple tasks on two programs, Scratch and Microbit. Scratch shall introduce how programming can be used to solve software tasks, while Micro Bit shall introduce how programming can be used to program hardware. Laptops will be provided.

Fun, entry-level create and make workshops are designed for the beginner or those looking to get creative in an enjoyable, interactive environment. Turn up, have a great time, and leave with new skills, a creation of your own making and some new friends.

Who can attend?

Open to staff and students at the University of Auckland.
