BackgroundMaori health promotion models, such as Te Pae Mahutonga, aim for the holistic wellbeing of humans and the environment, and enhance the autonomy of whanau and communities under all conditions. This webishop will examine how Te Pae Mahutonga can be effectively applied to address the political, economic and environmental challenges that whanau and communities are currently facing.Māori health promotion models, such as Te Pae Mahutonga, offer a powerful framework for fostering holistic wellbeing for individuals, whānau, and the environment. Grounded in Māori philosophy and mātauranga, these models not only address immediate challenges but also embed enduring principles that withstand significant political, economic, and environmental changes.By integrating Māori values and worldviews into strategic development, models like Te Pae Mahutonga provide a pathway for resilience and sustainability, ensuring the autonomy and vitality of whānau and communities in the face of evolving pressures. This webinar will examine how these timeless philosophies can guide transformative approaches to meet contemporary and future challenges.Presenters and pre-event information to be advised.General Information HPF webishops have three phases of learning activities:Participants are encouraged to participate in the pre-event resources, exercises and material that will be disseminated before the webishop to study in preparation for the event.Participation during the webishop with questions and answers as well as discussion.After the webishop, participants will receive a copy of the powerpoint presentation and other resources used. You will also be able to exclusively view the webishop on our Youtube channel for one week before going public.
