ADVANCED Youth Digitech Studios 2026 (8 Week Programme)

An 8 WEEK hands-on learning programme for 10-16 year olds who want to learn game design, basic coding and digital art. Everybody Welcome!

Please note that the Advanced YDS offering is intended for youth who have previously attended a YDS before or who have used game development tools before. If your child has done some game dev before please consider the alternative STANDARD offering at 2pm. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss this.

Youth Digitech Studios integrates the world of education with the world of game creation by providing tertiary and industry trained tutors to support learning opportunities in clubs for 10-16 year olds.

During sessions they learn creative graphics, sound and coding skills along with communication and collaboration. They work together to create their own video games and learn along the way.

Each term, students will create and publish a new video game utilising different skills and techniques.

Software used includes Blender, Godot and Unity.

Youth Digitech Studios ADVANCED Dunedin is an eight week programme, hosted at Jubilee Park, 45 Maori Road (1st floor) on Sunday 4:00PM - 5:30PM.
