ANZAC Sewing Retreat
Join us for a long weekend of sewing at Himitangi Lodge. - a weekend of stitching, chatting, and relaxation! 24-27 April 2026 COST:$380pp
Autumn Sewing Retreat - Friday 24th to Monday 27th April.
Please add yourself to the event if you are interested in attending :-) We can take up to 15 people.
Beautiful new location for the Autumn retreat! Bring your own machine and supplies and head off into the countryside with some like minded fabric hoarders.
COST
Cost is $380 per person for three nights for an individual room and vegetarian catering provided.
Upon signing up you will be sent an invoice for the cost of the Retreat, which can be paid in installments or all at once. All payments must be completed by 2 weeks before the event (10th April).
If you pay and are unable to come, we cannot issue a refund but you can get someone else to take your place.
In the event of you being unable to attend due to Covid, I will provide as much of a refund as I am able without leaving me personally out of pocket for any expenses that i am not able to recover.
BEDDING
Linen and towels are provided, but consider bringing an extra towel and blankets etc if you get cold.
FOOD
Food is catered from Friday evening. Meals included are Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sunday breakfast, lunch and dinner, Monday breakfast and lunch. Please let us know at time of booking if you have special dietary requirements - there may be a small surcharge for special food requests.
TRANSPORT
We will try to car pool so those without their own transport get to come and we can cut down on petrol costs. If you share a car (and aren't driving) you will be expected to contribute to petrol costs. Car pooling is generally arranged between participants themselves, but let us know if you need help with this.
OTHER INFORMATION
What to bring
For sewing: Desk and chair will be provided. Please bring your own multi-point plug and extension cord. A desk lamp may also be appropriate.
For sleeping: extra bedding and a hottie (hot water bottle) might also be nice.
Shared resources: if you are able to bring an irons, ironing boards, and cutting boards to share, please say so in the Facebook event discussion so that we can get coordinated and arrange to communally share these.
Activities - Walking shoes for relaxing walks, and swimming togs and towel if you want to use the pool!
